कुमारसम्भवः—गङ्गायां तेजोनिक्षेपः
The Birth of Kumāra/Skanda and the Deposition of Śiva’s Energy through Gaṅgā
देवतानां वचश्श्रुत्वा सर्वलोकपितामह:।सान्त्वयन्मधुरैर्वाक्यैस्त्रिदशानिदमब्रवीत्।।1.37.5।।
devatānāṁ vacaḥ śrutvā sarva-loka-pitāmahaḥ |
sāntvayan madhurair vākyais tridaśān idam abravīt || 1.37.5 ||
神々の言葉を聞き終えると、万界の祖父たる梵天は、三十神を甘き言葉で慰め、次のように告げた。
Hearing the words of the devatas, Brahma, the Grandsire of all the worlds consoled the devatas with sweet words, saying:
Dharma in leadership includes compassionate communication: Brahmā responds to distress with reassurance and measured speech before giving direction.
After the devas appeal for guidance, Brahmā listens and begins his reply by consoling them.
Karunā (compassion) and steadiness: Brahmā models calm, supportive authority in crisis.
