प्रसङ्गः / Genealogy of the Kuśika Line and the Kausikī River
सा तु सत्यवती पुण्या सत्ये धर्मे प्रतिष्ठिता।पतिव्रता महाभागा कौशिकी सरितां वरा।।।।
sā tu satyavatī puṇyā satye dharme pratiṣṭhitā |
pativratā mahābhāgā kauśikī saritāṃ varā ||
そのサティヤヴァティーは清らかにして福徳あり、真実とダルマに堅く住していた。夫に貞節で大いなる幸を得て、諸河の最勝たるカウシキーとなった。
Rama, for the sake of observance of austerity I have come to Siddhaashrama leaving her behind. Having reached here, I have fulfilled my desire through your valour.
Dharma is portrayed as unwavering commitment to satya (truth) and righteous conduct, shown through Satyavatī’s steadfast moral foundation.
Viśvāmitra identifies and praises Satyavatī, explaining her sanctity and her association with the river named Kauśikī.
