सैषा हि मागधी राम वसोस्तस्य महात्मन:।पूर्वाभिचरिता राम सुक्षेत्रा सस्यमालिनी।।।।
saiṣā hi māgadhī rāma vasos tasya mahātmanaḥ | pūrvābhicaritā rāma sukṣetrā sasyamālinī || 1.32.10 ||
ラーマよ、これこそ大いなる魂をもつヴァス（Vasu）に属するマガディー河である。東へと流れ、沃土に恵まれ、作物の花輪に飾られたかのようだ。
