तृतीयः सर्गः (Bālakāṇḍa 3): Vālmīki’s Yogic Verification and the Epic Synopsis
दर्शनं शरभङ्गस्य सुतीक्ष्णेन समागमम् ।अनसूयासहास्यामप्यङ्गरागस्य चार्पणम् ।।।।
darśanaṃ śarabhaṅgasya sutīkṣṇena samāgamam |
anasūyā-sahāsyām apy aṅgarāgasya cārpaṇam ||
彼は、シャラバンガへの拝謁、スティークシュナとの邂逅、さらにシーターがアナスーヤーのもとに留まり、芳香の塗香を授かって身に塗ったことまでも語った。
(He described) Rama's meeting with (sage) Sarabhanga and his arrival at Sutikshna's, Sita's companionship with Anasuya and anointing of fragrant unguents to her body.
Dharma is nurtured through saintly association: the forest exile becomes a space of guidance, purity, and strengthening of character.
Rāma’s party meets revered sages; Sītā spends time with Anasūyā and receives auspicious unguents.
Sītā’s modesty and grace, and the household-sage ideal embodied by Anasūyā—care that supports dharma in hardship.
