The Manifestation of the Divine Payasa and the Avatara Resolution
तास्त्वेतत्पायसं प्राप्य नरेन्द्रस्योत्तमास्स्त्रय:।सम्मानं मेनिरे सर्वां: प्रहर्षोदितचेतस:।।।।
tās tv etat pāyasaṁ prāpya narendrasya uttamās trayaḥ | sammānaṁ menire sarvāḥ praharṣodita-cetasaḥ ||
その三人の高貴な王妃は、王よりそのパーヤサ(payasa)を受け取ると、皆みずから栄誉を得たと思い、歓喜に心を満たした。
Pleased, with the rakshasa Brahma granted a boon to the effect that except from men, there was, for him, no fear of death from any other living beings. Ravana ignored men while seeking the boon.
Dharma in family life includes mutual respect and honoring rightful relationships; the queens receive the sacramental gift as an act of dignified inclusion, not rivalry.
After the sacrifice, the consecrated payasa is received by Daśaratha’s queens, preparing the ground for divine births.
Gratitude and harmony within the royal household—joy expressed as respectful acceptance of a sacred gift.
