पायसप्रादुर्भावः
The Manifestation of the Divine Payasa and the Avatara Resolution
तथेति नृपति: प्रीतश्शिरसा प्रतिगृह्यताम्।पात्रीं देवान्नसम्पूर्णां देवदत्तां हिरण्मयीम्।।।।
tatheti nṛpatiḥ prītaś śirasā pratigṛhya tām | pātrīṃ devānna-sampūrṇāṃ devadattāṃ hiraṇmayīm ||
「そのとおりに」と喜びに満ちた王は、敬虔に頭を垂れて拝し、神々より授けられた、天の食を満たした黄金の器を受け取った。
Dasaratha was pleased to receive respectfully the golden vessel filled with the payasam prepared and bestowed by devatas.
Reverence toward what is sacred and divinely sanctioned: the king receives a divine gift with humility (bowing the head), modeling gratitude and proper ritual respect.
After the sacrifice meant for progeny, a divine being presents a golden vessel containing divine food (pāyasa). Daśaratha accepts it respectfully.
Humility and gratitude—royal power is tempered by devotion and reverence when receiving divine grace.
