पायसप्रादुर्भावः
The Manifestation of the Divine Payasa and the Avatara Resolution
अथो पुनरिदं वाक्यं प्राजापत्यो नरोऽब्रवीत्।राजन्नर्चयता देवानद्य प्राप्तमिदं त्वया।।।।
atho punar idaṃ vākyaṃ prājāpatyo naro 'bravīt |
rājan arcayatā devān adya prāptam idaṃ tvayā || 1.16.18 ||
さらにプラジャーパティの使者は言った。「王よ、汝が神々を礼拝したゆえに、今日これを得たのだ。」
Thereafter the one who came from Prajapati answered, "O King! you have obtained this payasam today in return for the worship offered to the devatas".
Dharma is presented as moral-cosmic reciprocity: sincere worship and right action yield appropriate results. The verse links human effort in dharma (arcana) with a lawful fruit granted in due order.
The emissary clarifies that the gift is a direct outcome of Daśaratha’s worship during the sacrifice.
Persevering devotion and correctness in ritual duty—Daśaratha’s commitment to prescribed worship is validated by the divine response.
