Alarm at Chitrakūṭa: Lakṣmaṇa sights the approaching army
हन्त लक्ष्मण पश्येह सुमित्रासुप्रजास्त्वया।भीमस्तनितगम्भीरस्तुमुलः श्रूयते स्वनः।।2.96.7।।
hanta lakṣmaṇa paśyeha sumitrā-suprajas tvayā | bhīma-stanita-gambhīras tumulaḥ śrūyate svanaḥ || 2.96.7 ||
「来い、ラクシュマナ——ここを見よ!汝という善き子を得て、スミトラーはまことに幸いである。雷鳴のごとく深く恐ろしい、騒然たる轟きが聞こえる。」
