शब्दवेध्य-अनर्थः, ऋषिशापः, दशरथस्य प्राणत्यागः
The Sound-Target Tragedy, the Sage’s Curse, and Dasaratha’s Death
स्थानमस्मि महत्प्राप्तो भवतोः परिचारणात्।भवन्तावपि च क्षिप्रं मम मूलमुपैष्यतः।।।।
sthānam asmi mahat prāpto bhavatoḥ paricāraṇāt | bhavantāv api ca kṣipraṃ mama mūlam upaiṣyataḥ ||
「お二人にお仕えしたことにより、私は大いなる境地を得ました。お二人もまた間もなく、私の本来の住処――同じ高き境涯へと至られるでしょう。」
'I have attained this supreme state by virtue of the service rendered to you. You will also attain my state soon.'
Service to one’s parents is presented as a powerful dharma whose merit leads to spiritual elevation.
The ascetic’s son, now divinized, reassures his grieving parents that his attained state arose from serving them, and that they will soon join him.
Śuśrūṣā (devoted service) and gratitude toward parents.
