adya tv idānīṃ rajanīṃ putra! mā gaccha sarvathā |

ekāha-darśanenāpi sādhu tāvac carāmy aham ||

Translation

だが今日——まさに今夜は、我が子よ——決して行ってはならぬ。たとえ一日でもそなたをさらに見られるなら、わたしはなお少し安らかに耐えられよう。
