Transliteration

girinirjharasambhūtā girikandaravāsinām |

siṃhānāṃ ninadā duḥkhāḥ śrotuṃ duḥkham ato vanam || 2.28.7 ||

Translation

山の滝より生じ、岩窟に住む獅子の咆哮と相まって響くその音は、聞く者に痛ましく恐ろしい。ゆえに森の住まいは苦しみである。
