Transliteration

tasyāpi hi bhaved asmin karmaṇy apratisaṃhṛte | satyaṃ neti manastāpas tasya tāpas tapec ca mām ||

Translation

もしこの事—わが灌頂の準備—が取りやめられぬなら、父上もまた「我が真実の誓いは果たされなかった」との苦悩に焼かれ、その同じ苦しみが私をも悩ませるであろう。
