もしラクṣマṇaが、計略を悟り鹿の姿となって我が声をまね、激しく叫ぶマリーチャを聞いたなら、
'If Lakshmana listens to Maricha imitating my voice in the form of a deer, he, sent by Sita will come for me at once, leaving her behind.
It highlights discernment (viveka) as part of dharma: the righteous must recognize that adharma often works through deception and misdirection.
Rāma foresees the trick: Mā rīca will cry out in Rāma’s voice while appearing as a deer, to manipulate Lakṣmaṇa’s response.
Prudence and situational awareness—Rāma mentally reconstructs the enemy’s strategy.
