siddheśvarādipaṃcānyaliṃgāni vidhinaṃdini | samarcya labhate siddhimaihikāmuṣmikīṃ naraḥ || 14 ||
おおヴィディナンディニーよ。シッデーシュヴァラに始まる五つの無像のリンガ(liṅga)を、法にかなって供養礼拝する者は、シッディ(siddhi)—現世と来世の成就—を得る。
Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a phala-śruti: sincere, rule-based worship of sacred liṅgas (starting with Siddheśvara) yields siddhi—benefit in this life and spiritual merit for the next.
Bhakti here is expressed as samarcana—reverent worship performed with vidhi (proper method). Devotion is shown not only by feeling but by disciplined ritual attention to the deity’s symbol.
The emphasis on vidhi points to Kalpa (ritual procedure) as the practical discipline—performing worship according to prescribed rules to obtain stated results.
