この世で望みの享楽を味わい尽くしたのち、人はシヴァの界に至る。さらに主ケーダレーシャ(Kedāreśa)のもとへ赴き、定められた作法に従って礼拝供養すれば、無上の果報を得る。
Suta (narrating the tirtha-mahatmya discourse as received from the sages)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a phala-śruti for Kedāra: proper worship of Kedāreśa grants worldly fulfillment (iṣṭa-bhoga) and culminates in attainment of Śiva-loka, emphasizing pilgrimage-plus-ritual as a complete sādhanā.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent, rule-guided worship—going to the deity’s sacred seat (tīrtha) and offering pūjā “vidhānataḥ,” showing devotion grounded in śāstric procedure rather than mere sentiment.
The phrase “vidhānataḥ” points to ritual injunctions—practical application of Kalpa (rules of worship) and allied observances (mantra, offerings, and procedure) appropriate to a tīrtha-pūjā.
