Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"A calm, procedural listing of increasingly ‘great’ auspicious yogas, culminating in the insistence on bathing ‘according to rite’."}
It emphasizes that bathing at the tīrtha becomes especially efficacious when performed during specific Varuṇa-associated yogas (auspicious ritual timings) and when done strictly according to prescribed injunctions (vidhi).
Though ritual-focused, it supports bhakti indirectly by prescribing disciplined sacred actions at tīrthas—outer purity and obedience to dharma are presented as supportive conditions for inner devotion and sacred merit.
It points to Jyotiṣa (Vedic astronomy/astrology) through the use of “yoga” and named auspicious occasions (Vāruṇa, Mahā-Vāruṇaka), indicating timing-based ritual performance governed by calendrical calculations.
