tasmādaṃḍādvirāḍ jajñe so'śayiṣṭa jalāṃtare | mukhādīnyasya jātāni virājo'vayavā api || 62 ||

かくして、その宇宙の卵よりヴィラート（Virāṭ）が生まれた。彼は水の中に横たわり、彼よりヴィラートの肢体—口をはじめとして—が顕現した。
