FAQs

It elevates tirtha-darśana and humble prostration (praṇipāta) as a powerful bhakti-act, declaring that reverence to Rāma–Kṛṣṇa–Subhadrā at the sacred ocean yields merit comparable to major Vedic royal sacrifices.

Bhakti is shown as accessible: sincere bowing to the Lord’s revered forms (Rāma and Kṛṣṇa) and honoring a sacred place (Sāgara) can confer immense spiritual fruit without requiring the resources of elaborate yajñas.

Ritual practice is emphasized through tīrtha-vidhi and praṇipāta as a prescribed act of reverence; the verse also uses the Aśvamedha as a well-known śrauta benchmark to communicate the magnitude of punya in a tirtha context.
