それを飲むや否や、ただちに大いなる力を具えた天なる身体が現れる。そして彼は、衆生の大壊滅(宇宙の溶解)に至るまで、天女たちと戯れる。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in Uttara-Bhaga style tirtha/phala narration)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shringara
It states the extraordinary phala (result) of a sacred act—drinking sanctified tirtha-water—described as granting a divya-deha (divine body) and long-lasting heavenly enjoyment, emphasizing the Purana’s tirtha-mahātmya theme.
Though expressed as a reward, the verse supports bhakti-oriented pilgrimage and reverential engagement with holy places; honoring tirthas as sacred manifestations fosters devotion and faith, which the Purana frames as spiritually efficacious.
It reflects Kalpa-style ritual pragmatics: a specific action (drinking tirtha-water) is linked to a stated result (phala-śruti), illustrating how Purāṇic practice encodes ritual outcomes rather than grammar or astrology.
