Gaṅgā-māhātmya
वसुरुवाच । अथावगाहनादीनां कर्मणां फलमुच्यते । सावधाना श्रृणुष्व त्वं ब्रह्मपुत्रि नृपप्रिये ॥ १ ॥
vasuruvāca | athāvagāhanādīnāṃ karmaṇāṃ phalamucyate | sāvadhānā śrṛṇuṣva tvaṃ brahmaputri nṛpapriye || 1 ||
ヴァスは言った。「今より、聖なる入水沐浴（アヴァガーハナ）に始まる諸儀礼の果報を説こう。心を澄まして聞きなさい、梵天の娘よ、王に愛されし者よ。」
