Secondary Rasa: bibhatsa (disgust)
It warns that adharma becomes complete when harmful intention is sustained across all three channels—mind, speech, and action—making one a source of ‘vighna’ (obstruction) to dharma and welfare.
Bhakti is protected by inner purity; this verse highlights the opposite state—where mind and speech align with violence—implying that devotion to Vishnu requires restraint and compassionate resolve rather than destructive intent.
It reflects the dharmic discipline of controlling vāc (speech) and manas (mind), a practical ethical foundation that supports correct mantra-usage and ritual conduct (śrauta/smārta practice), even though no specific Vedanga like Jyotiṣa is directly taught in this line.
