Prabodhinī Ekādaśī, Kārtika-vrata, and Satya-dharma
स्थातुं कमलगर्भाभ किं पुनर्माससंख्यया । यत्रोपवासकरणं मन्यसे वसुधाधिप ॥ ४ ॥
sthātuṃ kamalagarbhābha kiṃ punarmāsasaṃkhyayā | yatropavāsakaraṇaṃ manyase vasudhādhipa || 4 ||
「蓮華の胎をもつブラフマーよ、月を数えることなど何の要がありましょう。大地の主よ、あなたが断食の行（ウパヴァーサ）を行うべきと定めるその場所こそ、功徳が確かに成就するところです。」
