The Greatness of Kārtika

पद्मिनी कुसुमाढ्येषु सरःसु विविधेषु च । मलये मन्दरे विंध्ये महेंद्रे विबुधालये ॥ ११ ॥

padminī kusumāḍhyeṣu saraḥsu vividheṣu ca | malaye mandare viṃdhye maheṃdre vibudhālaye || 11 ||

彼女(女神)は「パドミニー(蓮華の女)」として、蓮の花に満ちたさまざまな湖に住し、またマラヤ、マンダラ、ヴィンディヤ、マヘーンドラの諸山と、神々の住処にも宿る。
