真言に通じた行者は、プルシャ(Puruṣa)の四つのカラー(kalā)を順次に安置(nyāsa)すべし。第一は「tatpuruṣāya iti vidmahe」と誦し、これがシャーンティ(śānti)—鎮静・安寧—の句であると宣言される。
