The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
सौं सौं हौमिति संभाष्य परतो तों गुह्यशक्तये । नेत्रमुक्तं श्लीपशुं हुं फडंते नेत्रं शक्तये ॥ ६१ ॥
sauṃ sauṃ haumiti saṃbhāṣya parato toṃ guhyaśaktaye | netramuktaṃ ślīpaśuṃ huṃ phaḍaṃte netraṃ śaktaye || 61 ||
定められた種子音「sauṃ、sauṃ、haum」を唱えたのち、秘められた力(guhya-śakti)のために「toṃ」を加える。さらに「眼」の力(netra-śakti)を賦活するには、末尾を「huṃ phaṭ」とするネートラ(眼)真言を用い、眼のエネルギーを解き放ち起動させる。
