The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
प्राक्प्रोक्ते पूजयेत्पीठे गंधपुष्पैरुमापतिम् । अंगावृतैर्बहिः पूज्या हृल्लेखाद्या यथापुरा ॥ ४० ॥
prākprokte pūjayetpīṭhe gaṃdhapuṣpairumāpatim | aṃgāvṛtairbahiḥ pūjyā hṛllekhādyā yathāpurā || 40 ||
先に説かれたピீṭha(台座)において、香と花をもってウマーの主ウマーパティ(シヴァ)を礼拝すべきである。主座の外には、フリッレー カー(Hṛllekhā)をはじめとする諸神を、それぞれの「肢分の覆い」に包まれたまま、先に教えられたとおりに供養すべきである。
