Nityā-paṭala-prakaraṇa
The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
सप्ताहाद्रोगदुःखार्तिर्भवत्येव न संशयः । नित्यं नित्यार्चनं कुर्यात्तथा होमं घृतेन वै ॥ १५८ ॥
saptāhādrogaduḥkhārtirbhavatyeva na saṃśayaḥ | nityaṃ nityārcanaṃ kuryāttathā homaṃ ghṛtena vai || 158 ||
一週間のうちに、病と悲嘆の苦しみは必ず起こる—疑いはない。ゆえに日々、常の礼拝を怠らず、また聖火にギーの供養を捧げるべきである。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It emphasizes nitya-karma—steady daily worship and fire-offerings—as a disciplined spiritual remedy, asserting that neglect leads to the quick rise of distress, while regular practice sustains wellbeing and inner order.
Bhakti here is expressed as consistent daily arcana (devotional worship) supported by homa; devotion is not occasional emotion but a regulated, repeated offering of oneself through worship and oblation.
Ritual application (kalpa-style practice) is highlighted: performing homa with ghṛta (ghee) and maintaining nityārcana as a daily observance—showing procedural, technical dharma rather than abstract theology.
