निग्रहानुग्रहौ कर्तुं क्षमः स्याद्भुवनत्रये । दीर्घस्वरसमेताभ्यां हंसहृभ्द्यां षडंगकम् ॥ १६२ ॥
nigrahānugrahau kartuṃ kṣamaḥ syādbhuvanatraye | dīrghasvarasametābhyāṃ haṃsahṛbhdyāṃ ṣaḍaṃgakam || 162 ||
彼は三界において、制止することも恩寵を授けることも可能となる。二つの音節「haṃsa」と「hṛbh」を長母音とともに結び合わせることで、六つの補助学(ṣaḍaṅga/vedāṅga)が示される。
