Transliteration

kadācidchalilā devī puṃrūpā kṛṣṇavigrahā | sasarja ṣoḍaśakalāstāḥ sarvāstatsamaprabhāḥ || 16 ||

Translation

ある時、女神チャリラーは――黒天（クリシュナ）のごとき黒き身をもつ男の姿となり――十六のカラー（顕現の相）を生み出した。いずれも彼女と同じ光輝に満ちていた。
