Kālī and Tārā Vidyās
homāṃte vivadhai ratnaiḥ palairapi baliṃ haret | baliṃ maṃtreṇa vidhivadbalimaṃtraḥ prakāśyate || 132 ||
Narada (teaching the ritual procedure; within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes completing a homa with a proper bali-offering, showing that ritual wholeness includes respectful offerings made with mantra and correct procedure (vidhi), not merely the fire oblations.
By insisting on offering with mantra and reverence—even if only simple fruits are available—it points to devotion expressed through sincerity and orderly worship rather than luxury alone.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is highlighted: the verse specifies the timing (end of homa), acceptable materials (gems or fruits), and the rule that bali must be performed with the appropriate mantra.
