ऋषिर्नारायणश्चास्य छन्दो हि जगती तथा । देवता तु महालक्ष्मीर्द्विद्विवर्णैः षडंगकम् ॥ ५१ ॥
ṛṣirnārāyaṇaścāsya chando hi jagatī tathā | devatā tu mahālakṣmīrdvidvivarṇaiḥ ṣaḍaṃgakam || 51 ||
この真言のリシはナーラーヤナ、韻律はジャガティー、主宰神はマハーラクシュミーである。六支の補助行(ṣaḍaṅga-nyāsa)は、二音節ずつの組で行うべし。

It establishes the mantra’s authoritative framework—Ṛṣi, Chandas, and Devatā—so the practitioner aligns intention and method with Nārāyaṇa as seer and Mahālakṣmī as the presiding divine power.
By naming Mahālakṣmī as the Devatā, it directs devotion toward her grace and auspiciousness, while grounding the practice in a disciplined Vedic mantra-structure rather than mere sentiment.
Chandas (Vedic prosody) is explicitly taught via the Jagatī metre, and the ritual-technical application of ṣaḍaṅga-nyāsa is indicated through the dvi-dvi-varṇa (pair-syllable) procedure.
