The Account of Hanumān
tacchrutvā vacanaṃ śaṃbhurviṣṇoḥ prāha mudānvitaḥ | na tvayā sadṛśo mahyaṃ priyo'nyo'sti hare kvacit || 141 ||
Śambhu (Śiva)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches Hari–Hara aikya (the essential harmony of Viṣṇu and Śiva): Śiva openly declares supreme affection and reverence for Hari, modeling non-sectarian devotion rooted in dharma.
Bhakti is shown as joyful, personal love toward the Lord—Śiva’s delighted proclamation demonstrates that true devotion recognizes the Lord as uniquely dear (priyatama), beyond comparison.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this single verse; its practical takeaway is devotional conduct—offering stuti (praise) and cultivating harmony in worship traditions.
