astragrāmaṃ dadau mahyaṃ māsaṃ cāvāsayattathā | tato gādhisutodhīmān jñātvā bhāvyarthamādarāt || 11 ||
彼は私に武器の一切を授け、さらに一か月のあいだそこに住まわせた。やがてガーディの賢き子は、未来の目的を敬虔に悟り、それにふさわしく行動した。
Narada (narrating his experience in dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It highlights the disciplined transmission of sacred power: knowledge (here, astras) is given with restraint, time-bound training, and foresight—showing that spiritual and technical capacities must be entrusted responsibly.
Though the verse is not directly a bhakti instruction, it reflects a bhakti-aligned ethic: reverence (ādara) and obedience in apprenticeship, where the teacher serves the higher divine plan rather than personal display of power.
The verse implies structured instruction and retention—key to Vedanga practice—where mantric/technical skills are taught through residence (āvāsa), disciplined time, and purposeful application rather than mere memorization.
