敵の驕りを砕き、ダイティヤの慢心を断つ者。悪しき者を滅し、悲苦を除き、あらゆる不運と災厄を滅ぼす御方。
Narada (as a devotional reciter within a hymn-like passage, in dialogue-context traditionally framed with Sanatkumara)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents the Lord (Vishnu) as the inner power that crushes ego and adharma—whether appearing as hostile forces (enemies, demons) or as suffering and adversity—thereby restoring dharma and steadiness of mind for spiritual progress.
By concentrating on protective divine names and qualities, the devotee replaces fear and grief with remembrance (smaraṇa) and surrender (śaraṇāgati), trusting that the Lord removes both outer obstacles and inner negativity.
This is stotra-style applied mantra-prayoga: disciplined recitation with clear phonetics (Śikṣā) and correct word-formation/meaning (Vyākaraṇa–nirukti sense) to anchor attention and invoke rakṣā (protection) and āpad-vināśa (removal of calamities).
