Narada (in instruction mode within the Vedanga/ritual-application section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a dharmic protective application (rakṣā-prayoga) that is accessible to all—women and children included—emphasizing that purity and sacred protection can be simple, socially acceptable, and effective against harmful influences.
While the verse is primarily about protection, it supports bhakti by removing fear and obstruction; safeguarding the devotee’s mind and environment helps sustain steady remembrance and worship without disturbance.
It reflects applied ritual science (prayoga) aligned with Vedanga-style technical instruction—how a wearable/visible protective item is used as a remedial measure to counter specific negative entities and occult afflictions.
