Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames Vaiṣṇava worship as a complete mandala/āvaraṇa practice: Viṣṇu is central on the pīṭha, while revered attendants and supporting powers are honored in the surrounding directions, expressing wholeness and protection of the rite.
Bhakti here is not only emotion but disciplined service (pūjā): the devotee honors Viṣṇu’s seat and also His cosmic associates like Garuḍa and Śeṣa, showing reverence to the Lord’s entire divine order.
It highlights procedural ritual science—altar layout and directional placement (dig-vinyāsa) with aṅga/āvaraṇa worship—typical of technical instructions aligned with Kalpa-style ritual method.
