Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a disciplined prayoga (application) of mantra—japa followed by homa—as a dharmic remedial act meant to restore balance when a person suffers severe disturbances such as seizures or spirit-related afflictions.
Bhakti here is expressed as sustained, faithful japa and offering (homa). The emphasis is on perseverance (one lakh recitations) and ritual sincerity, showing devotion through regulated practice rather than mere sentiment.
It highlights Kalpa (ritual procedure): a fixed count for japa, the daśāṁśa rule for homa, and the specified dravya (kapilā-cow ghee) used as the oblation in a remedial rite.
