Narada (teaching a technical mantra-formation rule within Vedanga/Mantra-vidya material)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It preserves a precise, technical method for forming a protective mantra (Netra-mantra), showing that correct phonetic placement and repetition are treated as spiritually efficacious in mantra-vidya.
While primarily technical, it supports devotional practice by providing a structured mantra intended for protection and inner steadiness—conditions that help sustain focused remembrance and worship.
It highlights mantra-formation through phonetic/grammatical placement (a practical application aligned with Śikṣā and Vyākaraṇa-style precision), including rules like “add at the end,” “repeat twice,” and “append a controlling formula.”
