Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a complete sādhana pattern: meditation on the Guru-deity, disciplined mantra-japa (lakṣa count), and sealing the practice through homa as an offering—linking inner remembrance with outer ritual completion.
By instructing continuous स्मरण (remembrance) of the divine Guru and dedicating the fruit of practice through offerings, it frames mantra-work as devotion expressed through reverent recollection and sacrificial dedication.
It highlights prayoga-style ritual arithmetic and procedure: lakṣa-japa followed by daśāṃśa-homa, and acceptable havis options (ghee or cooked food), a typical technical rule used in mantra and yajña practice.
