ततो देवानृषींश्चैव पितॄश्चापि विधानवित् । तर्पयित्वा स्वेष्टदेवं तर्पयेत्कल्पमार्गतः ॥ ७४ ॥

その後、正しい作法を知る者は、神々・聖仙(ṛṣi)・祖霊(ピトリ)にタर्पナ(供水の献供)を捧げ、さらにカルパ(Kalpa)の定める儀礼の道に従って、自らの選ぶイシュタ・デーヴァター(守護本尊)を歓喜させて供養すべきである。
