गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
सगर उवाच । मातर्गतः पिता कुत्र किं नामा कस्य वंशजः । तत्सर्वं मे समाचक्ष्व श्रोतुं कौतूहलं मम ॥ १७ ॥
sagara uvāca | mātargataḥ pitā kutra kiṃ nāmā kasya vaṃśajaḥ | tatsarvaṃ me samācakṣva śrotuṃ kautūhalaṃ mama || 17 ||
サガラは言った。「わが父はどこへ行かれたのか。御名は何というのか。いかなる家系の御出なのか。それらすべてを余すところなく語ってください。私は聞きたい思いで胸が満ちている。」
