इत्युक्त्वा देवदेवशो मुनेरतस्य समीक्षतः । अंतर्दधे मृकण्डुश्च तपसः समवर्तत ॥ ९९ ॥

かく語り終えると、神々の神・主の主は、牟尼が見守るその前で姿を隠して消え去った。するとムリカṇḍुもまた、ただちに全身全霊をもって苦行(タパス)に専念した。
