Viṣṇor Māhātmya

तावज्जन्मकृतं पापं तदैव क्षयमागतम् । प्रदीपः स्थापितस्तत्र सुरतार्थं द्विजोत्तम ॥ ३५ ॥

tāvajjanmakṛtaṃ pāpaṃ tadaiva kṣayamāgatam | pradīpaḥ sthāpitastatra suratārthaṃ dvijottama || 35 ||

生まれてこのかた積み重ねた罪は、その瞬間に滅び去った。二度生まれの中の最勝者よ、神への供養のために、そこに灯明が据えられた時である。
