Suta (narrating the Purana’s story flow)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights vātsalya (parental tenderness) as a dharmic virtue—nurturing dependents through righteous means is presented as part of orderly life that supports higher spiritual pursuits.
While not directly teaching bhakti practices, it shows the sattvic foundation of bhakti: compassion, responsibility, and loving care, which purify the heart and make devotion to Vishnu steadier.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana, Jyotisha, or Shiksha) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical household conduct—supporting family through proper sādhana (legitimate means).
