The Characteristics of Devotion to Hari
सत्यं वच्मि हितं वच्मि सारं वच्मि पुनःपुनः । असारेऽस्मिस्तु संसारे सत्यं हरिसमर्चनम् ॥ १० ॥
satyaṃ vacmi hitaṃ vacmi sāraṃ vacmi punaḥpunaḥ | asāre'smistu saṃsāre satyaṃ harisamarcanam || 10 ||
我は真実を語り、益あることを語り、要諦を幾度も告げる。この実体なき輪廻の世において、真の実在とはハリへの礼拝である。
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It identifies Hari-worship (Vishnu Bhakti) as the only lasting truth amid the impermanence of saṃsāra, presenting devotion as the distilled essence (sāra) of spiritual life.
By repeating “I speak the essence again and again,” the speaker stresses that sincere worship of Hari is not secondary but the most reliable means to transcend the world’s insubstantiality and move toward mokṣa.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is devotional practice—regular, reverent worship (arcana/samarcana) directed to Hari as the core sādhana.
