यदि कामादिदुष्टात्मा देव पूजापरो भवेत् । दंभाचारः स विज्ञेयः सर्वपातकिभिः समः ॥ ३९ ॥

yadi kāmādiduṣṭātmā deva pūjāparo bhavet | daṃbhācāraḥ sa vijñeyaḥ sarvapātakibhiḥ samaḥ || 39 ||

欲望などの悪によって内心が汚れた者が、神への礼拝に励むなら、その者は偽善者と知るべきである。その振る舞いはあらゆる罪人に等しい。
