Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa

वक्ष्ये श्रृणुष्व विप्रेंद्र प्रायश्चजितोक्तिसाधनम् । गवाक्षागतमार्तण्डरश्मिमध्ये प्रदृश्यते ॥ ३५ ॥

vakṣye śrṛṇuṣva vipreṃdra prāyaścajitoktisādhanam | gavākṣāgatamārtaṇḍaraśmimadhye pradṛśyate || 35 ||

我は説こう——聞け、婆羅門の中の最勝者よ——贖罪(プラーヤシュチッタ)の教えを確証する手立てを。それは、窓から差し込む光の筋のただ中に日光が明らかに見えるように、はっきりと現れる。
