अस्पष्टमर्थहीनं च ह्यतिगुर्वक्षरान्वितम् । न दद्यान्नाम विप्रेन्द तथा च विषमाक्षरम् ॥ ८ ॥
aspaṣṭamarthahīnaṃ ca hyatigurvakṣarānvitam | na dadyānnāma viprenda tathā ca viṣamākṣaram || 8 ||
おお、婆羅門の中の最勝者よ。意味が不明瞭で、意義を欠き、音節が過度に重く、あるいは音節の配列が不均整な名を授けてはならない。
