नाभिवाद्यः स विज्ञेयो यया शूद्रस्तथैव सः । प्रक्षाल्य पादावाचम्य गुरोरभिमुखः सदा ॥ ४४ ॥

nābhivādyaḥ sa vijñeyo yayā śūdrastathaiva saḥ | prakṣālya pādāvācamya gurorabhimukhaḥ sadā || 44 ||

彼は礼拝して挨拶すべき者ではないと知るべきであり、その点においてはシュードラのようである。足を洗い、アーチャマナ(浄めの水をすすぐ作法)を行ったのち、常に師(グル)に面して、敬虔に心を向けていなさい。
