Transliteration

garbhaikādaśame'bde tu rājanyasyopanāyanam | ādvāviṃśābdaparyaṃtaṃ kālamāhurvipaścitaḥ || 12 ||

Translation

クシャトリヤ（rājanya）には、ウパナヤナ（ヴェーダ学習への入門）が受胎から数えて第十一年に定められる。学識ある者たちは、許容される期間が第二十二年に至るまで及ぶと述べる。
